Contact: info@thundergroupeg.com
3. Acceptance of these terms
By using the Site or submitting any data through its forms, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms, together with the [Privacy Policy](/privacy), which forms an integral part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Eligibility: use of the Site and submission of applications through it are limited to persons aged eighteen or over with legal capacity.
Acting for an employer: if you use the Site on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms.
4. The nature and limits of our services
THUNDER is a recruitment intermediary connecting candidates with employers. To be clear about what that means:
- We are not an employer. We do not employ candidates and are not a party to any employment contract formed between a candidate and an employer.
- We do not guarantee employment. Submitting an application creates no obligation on us to put you forward or to find you a role, and gives you no right to a job.
- We do not guarantee a reply to every application. We aim to contact candidates suited to available roles, but volume may prevent us from replying to everyone.
- We do not control employers' decisions, the contractual terms they offer, or working conditions after hiring.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of employers' role descriptions or requirements.
5. Free of charge for candidates
THUNDER charges candidates nothing, in any form, at any stage. No application or registration fee, no charge for training, paperwork or interviews, and no percentage of salary after placement. THUNDER is paid for its services by employers alone.
Fraud warning: anyone asking you for money in THUNDER's name does not represent us. Report it immediately to info@thundergroupeg.com.
6. Candidate obligations
By submitting an application through the Site you undertake:
1. Accuracy — that all data you provide, including your CV, qualifications and experience, is accurate, current and not misleading.
2. Ownership — not to submit another person's data or CV without their authorisation.
3. Unrequested data — to avoid including data we have not asked for in your CV, such as religion, marital status, health status or national ID number. Leaving it out will not harm your prospects with us (see section 10 of the Privacy Policy).
4. File safety — not to upload files containing malicious software, and to observe the permitted formats and size: PDF, DOC or DOCX up to 5 MB.
5. Keeping data current — to notify us of any material change to your details, or to request an update or deletion via privacy@thundergroupeg.com.
Submitting inaccurate data may result in your application being set aside or your profile being deleted from the talent database, without prejudice to any liability that may arise towards an employer.
7. Employer obligations
By submitting a staffing request through the Site you undertake:
1. Authority — that you are authorised to act on behalf of the entity you represent.
2. Genuine request — that the request relates to real existing or planned roles, and that the role description and requirements are accurate.
3. Use of candidate data — to use candidate data we send you solely to assess candidates for the role concerned, not to share it with any third party, not to retain it beyond that purpose, and to process it in compliance with the personal data protection law in force in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
4. Non-discrimination — not to ask us to exclude candidates on grounds of religion, sex, marital status, health status or any other discriminatory basis, and not to ask us to collect data for such purposes.
5. Financial obligations — to comply with the commercial terms agreed.
Contractual relationship: submitting a staffing request through the Site does not form a contract; it is a request to begin discussions. No contractual relationship arises between THUNDER and an employer except under a separate agreement signed by both parties, setting out the commercial terms, the data protection controls, and how the employer handles and how long it retains candidate data.
8. Applying and being put forward
By submitting your application through the Site, you authorise THUNDER to hold your details and CV in a talent database, to match you against roles that open with our employer clients in the tourism and hospitality sector within the Arab Republic of Egypt, and to put you forward to those employers as described in section 8 of the [Privacy Policy](/privacy).
We notify you when you are put forward, naming the employer and the role, and you may object within the period stated in the notice.
9. Permitted and prohibited use
You must not:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
- Submit false data or impersonate another person.
- Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its systems or its users' data.
- Use automated tools to harvest Site content, user data or listed roles, or attempt to circumvent bot protection measures.
- Upload files containing malicious software, or attempt to disrupt or overload the Site.
- Use contact details published on the Site for unsolicited marketing.
- Republish or commercially exploit Site content without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site without prior notice and without prejudice to any other right, where these terms are breached.
10. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Site and its content — including the trade name, mark, logo, text, design and software — belong to THUNDER or are licensed to it. Using the Site grants you no right in any of them.
Your own content: you retain all rights in your CV and the data you provide. By submitting it, you grant THUNDER a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it solely for the purpose of providing the recruitment services described in these terms and the Privacy Policy. That licence runs for the retention period applicable to your data and ends when it is deleted.
11. Site availability
We aim to keep the Site available continuously, but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Site or any of its services, in whole or in part, for maintenance, development or any operational reason.
12. External links and services
The Site may contain links or buttons to external services, including a WhatsApp contact button. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- The Site's services are provided as they stand, without implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for employers' decisions about candidates, for the terms of any employment contract formed between a candidate and an employer, or for working conditions after hiring.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of opportunity and loss of profit.
- We are not liable for the accuracy of data provided by users themselves.
Nothing above excludes or limits any liability that the law does not permit to be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify THUNDER against any loss, claim or expense it incurs as a result of your breach of these terms, your submission of inaccurate data or of another person's data without authorisation, or your unlawful use of the Site.
15. Data protection
The processing of your personal data is governed by the [Privacy Policy](/privacy), which forms an integral part of these terms and sets out the legal basis for processing, retention periods, who has access to your data, processing outside Egypt, and your rights and how to exercise them.
16. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. The updated version is published on this page with a new version number and effective date, and your continued use of the Site after publication constitutes acceptance of it. Where an amendment is material, we will notify registered candidates by email.
17. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or connected with them.
